I am often asked what routers will work for the Copy Carver.  Most any small diameter laminate trimmer router will work, however I recommend the routers with an all metal housing because you will be attaching the router to the Copy Carver via muffler clamps.  Using a plastic housing router may not hold up to the tension applied by the clamps over time.  So to make the choice easier I have listed some of the favorites in use today by other Copy Carver users. You can click on the below picture to go to those websites for more information.  Keep in mind just about any brand or size router can used if you change the way the router mounts to the face panel that will accommodate your router preference.  Simple wood mounts can easily be fashioned to match your router motor housing and a common band clamp used to secure everything in place.
